1. Chevrolet Beat 



























The Chevrolet Beat Diesel is equipped with 936 cc XSDE SMARTECH 3-cylinder Common Rail Diesel engine, capable of producing a maximum power output of 62.50 PS/L and a maximum torque of 160.26 Nm/L. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel gives a fuel efficiency of 25.44 km/L on the highways as per the ARAI standards.


2. Tata Nano 

The 2013 version of Tata Nano has improved in terms of fuel efficiency with an ability to return around 25.35Kmpl (as certified by ARAI), compared to the previous version that delivers 23.6 Kmpl of mileage.

5.  Nissan Micra Diesel 





Powered by a 1461cc, 4-cylinder k9k diesel engine, the Micra produces 64 BHP and 160 Nm and returns a mileage of 23.08 kmpl.


6.  Toyota Etios Liva

7.  Maruti Suzuki Swift Diesel

8. Hyundai i-Gen i20 

 
The i20 with 1.2 L, 1196cc Kappa PL also has a petrol variant which offers 15kmpl in the city road and 17kmpl on the highways. Hyundai i20, with 1.4 L CRDI Diesel engine gives a mileage of 18kmpl in the city and 23kmpl on the highways.


9. Hyundai Eon 


The Eon is powered by a 814cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces 55 BHP and 76.5 Nm. This is the Santro engine minus one cylinder. Besides the petrol version, the company also offers Eon LPG variants on D-Lite plus, Era plus and Magna Plus.  All these variants also deliver similar amount of power and torque accompanied with the mileage that would give other cars a run for their money. 10. Hyundai i10


The i10 is available with two different powered engines and thus the mileage they offer also varies. The i10 is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa2 petrol engine which uses VTVT technology. This engine produces 80 BHP and 114 Nm. Out of its many variants, Hyundai i10’s D-lite and Era variants are equipped with 1.1L, 1086cc, iRDE (Intelligent Responsive Drive Engine) petrol engine that offers good engine performance with good fuel efficiency.
